Lentils are a very useful product for any person, because it contains a rather high content of vegetable protein (on average 24 g per 100 g of lentils), a significant amount of iron and folic acid.
In addition to these substances, the lentil contains soluble fiber (it improves digestion well and protects to some extent from malignant tumors that occur in the rectum), magnesium (stimulates the heart, strengthens the nervous system), phosphorus, calcium, potassium, copper, manganese , iodine, boron, molybdenum, zinc, cobalt, vitamins A, PP, and also vitamins of group B.
Germinated lentils also have a high content of vitamin C.
In addition to the above elements, lentil is also full of tryptophan, which is converted in our body into serotonin - the so-called “hormone of joy”, which makes a person feel an interest in life, maintain a good level of efficiency and enjoy the world around him.
